Services

Every cloud, one network, one policy.

Private on-ramps, cloud exchange, transit and segmentation so AWS, Azure, GCP and SaaS behave like regions of your own network — designed, migrated and operated with the same rigour as the datacenter fabric.

What's included

01

Connectivity architecture

Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Interconnect, Equinix Fabric, Megaport or Alkira — chosen by bandwidth, regions and how fast you need to be live.

02

Cloud exchange

Alkira Cloud Exchange Points as a hosted multi-cloud hub with segmentation and firewall insertion built in.

03

Transit and routing

BGP design, route policy, path symmetry for inspection, and failover tested rather than assumed.

04

Segmentation across clouds

The same segments as the fabric and WAN carried into VPCs and VNets.

05

Cloud-native network services

Transit gateways, virtual WAN, cloud firewalls and load balancers configured as code.

06

Cost and egress review

Interconnect and egress charges modelled so the design is affordable at next year's volumes.

How an engagement runs

01

Assessment

Cloud footprint, flows, latency and egress today.

02

Design

Connectivity model, exchange placement, routing and segmentation.

03

Build

Circuits, exchange points and cloud resources deployed as code.

04

Migrate and operate

Workloads moved onto the new paths; optional managed operations.

Questions we get asked

Alkira or Equinix Fabric?

Alkira when you need many clouds and regions online quickly with built-in segmentation and security insertion. Equinix Fabric or Megaport when you already have colocation and want raw private bandwidth. Often both.

Do you manage the cloud side too?

The networking inside the cloud, yes — transit, routing, firewalls and load balancers. Application and compute stay with your cloud team.
